Lena Moon is a comedian, writer and Twitch streamer known for her chaotic charm and unhealthy obsession with video games. You may also know Lena from her award-winning sketch duo, Annie and Lena, her improv troupe Something Good, or for her work on and off screen in film, TV and online.

2025 saw Lena tour her first solo hour of stand up comedy, Rube Goldberg Machine, to much acclaim and sold out shows across Australia.

A frequent collaborator with sketch outfit Aunty Donna, Lena appeared on screen in Aunty Donna’s Coffee Cafe (ABC), and has become a crowd favourite in viral hits, Most Upsetting Guessing Game, Trope RPG and The Greg Larsen Show, all produced for YouTube’s Grouse House channel.

In TV, Lena’s chameleon-like ability to adapt her writing to different voices can be see on the adult-skewed animated series, YOLO: Crystal Fantasy (Adult Swim), to writing for the host of Thank God You’re Here (Network Ten). Lena wrote and voiced on the animated series, Starship Q Star (ABC), where she also wrote and voiced on the award-winning podcast that inspired the shorts. Lena wrote sketch and narrative pieces for children’s infotainment show Good Game Spawn Point (ABC), and in a dream role for a gamer, she appeared as Con, a sentient gaming console in an episode of the show.

In film, Lena has appeared in two feature films, the AACTA nominated The Emu War and MIFF 2024 pick The Organist, where she was described as ‘effervescent’ and a ‘true hit’ by Screen Hub.

Across her career Lena has worked in every FTV department imaginable: writing, directing, acting, assistant directing, script coordinating, note taking, production, editing, camera assisting, and, her personal favourite (that finally put all her years as an after-school carer to good use): audience and talent wrangling.

Her formal education includes a Bachelor of Film and Television at Swinburne University, a Masters of Screenwriting at the Victorian College of the Arts and many years performing and honing her improv skills at The Improv Conspiracy in Melbourne, and Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC.

Moving forward Lena wants to make people laugh as much as she can, whether that is on screen, live performance, writing or playing games on her Twitch stream, one thing is certain, she’s going to do what it takes to hold your attention because thanks to her ADHD, nothing can hold hers.
